Centering the Self, Part One -The New Self-Centered
Self-centering means observing this world from your own unique perspective while enjoying and appreciating life. From a self-centered perspective, you find relaxation, focus, and rejuvenation.
With so much emphasis on not upsetting the apple cart, making other people happy, fitting in, saying the right thing, and avoiding judgment, being self-centered may seem impossible.
Most people have 75% (or more) of their attention focused outside; wondering and assuming what they think other people need and want. This is useless use of imagination, and it creates overly scattered attention
